Beyonce’s Pregnancy Announcement Photo has been Named The Most-Liked Photo Of 2017, preceding Selena Gomez’s in 2016.
Beyonce will hold the title for this year’s most liked picture on IG as the singer nearly broke the internet with the number one liked photo of 2017: her pregnancy announcement.
Back in February, Beyonce posted an image of her seated in a bed of flowers in front of a colorful, floral wreath, baring her pregnant stomach. The post amassed over 11.1 million likes in a matter of hours, spawning an onslaught of spoofs and memes of her floral-themed pregnancy shoot.
Trailing behind Bey for the second most liked photo is soccer star, Cristiano Ronaldo, who posted a photo of himself and his family announcing the birth of his twins. While Gomez maintains her spot as the most-followed celebrity on Instagram with 130 million followers, the photo of her in a hospital bed with her best friend Francia Rasia following her kidney surgery comes is the third most liked photo on Instagram this year.

I’m very aware some of my fans had noticed I was laying low for part of the summer and questioning why I wasn’t promoting my new music, which I was extremely proud of. So I found out I needed to get a kidney transplant due to my Lupus and was recovering. It was what I needed to do for my overall health. I honestly look forward to sharing with you, soon my journey through these past several months as I have always wanted to do with you. Until then I want to publicly thank my family and incredible team of doctors for everything they have done for me prior to and post-surgery. And finally, there aren’t words to describe how I can possibly thank my beautiful friend Francia Raisa. She gave me the ultimate gift and sacrifice by donating her kidney to me. I am incredibly blessed. I love you so much sis. Lupus continues to be very misunderstood but progress is being made.
